Course Overview
This Two Day CPD course provides an evidence-informed, clinically grounded exploration of Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) for osteopaths and manual practitioners managing complex autonomic presentations.
Course Content
Participants will review the current gold-standard definitions, diagnostic criteria, and management approaches, including contemporary non-pharmacological and pharmacological strategies used in multidisciplinary care.
The course then examines current pathophysiological models of POTS, including hypovolemic, neuropathic, and hyperadrenergic phenotypes, alongside common comorbidities such as chronic fatigue syndromes, hypermobility, and post-viral dysautonomia.
